DV Assist

Terms of use

Last updated: October 2026

Starter text: please have it reviewed by legal counsel before launch.

1. Who we are and what the service is

DV Assist is an independent private service that helps users prepare Diversity Visa entries and submit them on their behalf. We are not affiliated with the US Government or the US Department of State.

2. The official entry fee

The official entry on dvprogram.state.gov costs a $1 US government fee, charged by the US State Department and non-refundable. You may enter yourself directly on the official website and pay only that fee. The service fee we charge (5.000 JOD) is for our help and submission only. When we submit your entry we pay the $1 official fee on your behalf and collect it from you as part of one total (5.710 JOD). Nobody can raise the chance of winning.

3. No guarantee of winning

Selection is entirely random. We do not guarantee that you will win or obtain a visa, and we have no influence over decisions of the official authorities.

4. Your responsibility for accurate data

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter and for it matching your passport. You confirm you have not submitted another entry for the same year, and that multiple entries lead to disqualification.

5. Authorization to submit

By ticking the consent boxes at final review you authorize us to enter your data on the official website exactly once. We record the time of your consent and your IP address as evidence.

6. Payment and refunds

You pay one total (5.710 JOD: the 5.000 JOD service fee plus the $1 official fee, collected as its JOD equivalent) manually by CliQ or bank transfer with a receipt upload. If an order is refunded before the entry is submitted, both parts are refunded in full. After submission the official $1 fee is non-refundable, because it has already been paid to the State Department; any refund then covers the service fee only (for example, when the problem is on our side).

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the service with false information, in someone else’s name without permission, or to submit more than one entry for the same person. We may suspend accounts that violate this.

8. Limits of liability

We take reasonable care, but we are not responsible for decisions of official authorities, photo rejections or changes in the rules. Our maximum liability is limited to the service fee you paid.

9. Changes

We may change these terms and will show the last-updated date at the top. Continuing to use the service means you accept the change.

10. Contact

For any question about these terms, email us at the address shown on the privacy policy page.
